Title and Role Change
Effective January 1, 2012 Dr. Mark Inman had a title and role change set forth by the North American Mission Board and Illinois State Baptist Association. Dr. Inman moved from his present role of Director of Missions/Church Planting Strategist to Church Planting Catylist/Director of Missions. Whereas, before Dr. Inman's previous role allowed him to spend more time or equal time as Director of Missions and Church Planting, the new change in title and role requires him to spend more time as Church Planting Catalyst and less time as Director of Missions. This change is effective for one year upon which time NAMB and IBSA will review their budgets to determine if it is affordable for them to continue Dr. Inman's service as a Church Planting Catalyst. If NAMB and IBSA determine their budgets will not afford Dr. Inman to remain in this role then, Dr. Inman will return to his previous role as Director of Missions/Church Planting Catalyst with the possibility of no longer receiving subsidies from NAMB and IBSA. It was announced at a recent meeting that Dr. Inman attended with IBSA that NAMB will be sending the same dollar amount to IBSA for the years 2013 and 2014. IBSA staff reported that they will conduct a study as to how the funds will be allocated for the years of 2013 and 2014 before announcing to Dr. Inman and the association whether or not Dr. Inman's role of Church Planting Catylist/DOM will continue. Dr. Inman was told that he will receive word some time in the near future if this news of no change in the dollar amount given to IBSA from NAMB will retain him at his present position as Church Planting Catalyst/Director of Missions. Dr. Inman reports that he loves the work God has called him to do in Northern Illinois and the people he has been called to serve, and whatever need whether it be Church Planting Catalyst/DOM or DOM/Church Planting Strategist, he is willing to serve to meet that need. He appreciates so very much the support the pastors and the people of Fox Valley Baptist Association have shown him during this transitional period.

It was brought to our attention that the FVBA website had been hacked resulting in missing information as well as obscenities. The obscenities have been removed and we are presently working on inserting the missing information. In advance, thank you for your patience in this matter.
