Many of you have been consistently praying for us and our ministry here in Sugar Grove. We are so thankful for your prayers as we can see God opening up doors and opportunities for us here. We would like to ask you now to be specifically praying for
two important items for us.
1. We need gum. We have a number of projects this summer and we are hoping to be able to give away gum in the community in much the same way that we give it away on campus. While we are not sure of exactly how much gum we will need we believe it to be in the thousands. Once the summer has finished then we are wanting to once again go back on campus with gum. On a normal day on campus we give away 150-200 packs of gum. this would mean that if we are on campus everyday during the first week of classes then we would need about 1,000-1,500 packs that week. We are hoping to be able to really blitz campus this first week.
2.As our ministry becomes more and more active it is getting more difficult for me to continue working at Wal-Mart. We believe that god has used this job as a means of support for us but we are beginning to believe that that time is coming to a close. For this to happen we need God to provide in new ways for our financial support. We are estimating that we would need approximately 2,000-2500 in monthly income for me to completely step down from the store.
3.Partners. We desperately need co-labors here. We need people who believe in The Journey and the vision god has given us. We need people who want to walk with us in this ministry.
Thank You for all of your prayers. We look forward to seeing how God answers these prayers.
